Comingled Items:
Acceptable Comingle:
Plastic Containers, All Glass bottles and jars, All cans, Empty Aerosol cans, Aluminum pie plates and foil.
Unacceptable Comingle:
Food, Plastic bags and wrap, Window glass, Mirrors, Drinking glasses, Ceramics, Full Aerosol cans, Motor oil containers, Antifreeze containers, Paint cans, Tarps, Medical needles, Packing products, Styrofoam

Paper Items:
Acceptable Paper:
Newspapers and flyers within, Office paper, Glossy magazines, Cardboard boxes (broken flat), cereal boxes, egg cartons, phone books, junk mail
Unacceptable Paper:
Paper towels, tissues, napkins, ice cream containers, wax coated paper

Rules and Procedures

  • Rubbish must be placed at curb by 6:30 AM on collection day
  • Maximum size per container: 30 gallon capacity
  • Maximum weight per bag in container: 50 lbs
  • Maximum quantity of containers: 6 bags or 4 barrels
  • All household rubbish accepted
  • For sanitary reasons we request trash to be placed in bags (tied) Bags may be placed in trash barrels.
  • No hazardous waste such as car batteries, oil based paints, motor oil and like chemicals.

Additional services

  • We will remove large items like furniture, appliances, demolition, brush and compost items for an additional fee by appointment
  • Special arrangements and surcharges are required and assessed for any materials that require special handling that are not included in the weekly collection. Examples: leaves, brush, construction demo bulky items, appliances, etc.
  • Buckley Disposal works with NH Social Services in Nashua. We donate items in good condition which are then forwarded to families in need.
  • Buckley Disposal also offers free weekly collection to any family in Merrimack, Amherst and Bedford that has a spouse serving in the military over seas.

Holidays

Buckley Disposal strives to minimize the effect and inconvenience to our customers due to holidays. Our services must be coordinated with the local recycling and disposal facilities. We make every effort to place our holiday schedule in our weekly papers the first couple weeks of the holiday month.

I also will have the schedule on my business answering machine the week of the holiday.
